RIO Ferdinand has ruined his hardman image by admitting he is a secret McFly fan.

The England football captain posted a snap of himself singing along to the boyband’s hit Star Girl on his Twitter page.

Rio, 31, went online to share the photo with pal Chris Moyles, 36, to prove he was joining in with his “McFly Day” feature on his Radio 1 breakfast show.
The football softie wrote: “McFly me up!”
